Caring For Your Jewelry.

14 K Gold Filled Jewelry

Spark’d Society’s gold jewelry is carefully handmade with heavy-duty elastic string and 14 K gold-filled beads our pieces are water-proof. However, we advise against direct contact with harsh chemicals found in perfumes, cosmetics, soaps, and hot springs as it can darken the gold finish.

To care for your gold-filled jewelry, gently wipe the product with a soft cloth to remove any chemicals from the surface. For cleaning, simply place your beaded bracelets in a bowl of hot water mixed with 2tbs of baking soda, 1tsb of salt and a ball of aluminum foil. Let the bracelets sit in the mixture for 5-10 mins and watch the magic happen! Then simply dry with a soft polishing cloth. Please note that once a piece has darkened due to exposure, we cannot guarantee restoration, underscoring the importance of ongoing care to ensure your jewelry remains beautiful for years to come.

Sterling Silver Jewelry

Like all genuine sterling silver items, regular cleaning is necessary to maintain its shine. To restore its luster, you can do the same method as above.

Pearl Jewelry

At Spark’d Society, our bracelet styles feature both freshwater and high-quality synthetic pearls.

Some designs incorporate synthetic pearls for a sleek, symmetrical look — ensuring each pearl is perfectly uniform in shape and shine.

We use Swarovski-crafted pearls, made with a crystal core and coated in a durable, luminous finish that beautifully mimics natural pearls. While more resilient than organic pearls, they still deserve gentle care to preserve their radiance.

Care & Keeping of Your Pearls

To keep your pearls looking radiant for years to come, follow these simple care tips:

Avoid Chemical Contact
Keep pearls away from perfumes, hairsprays, lotions, and household cleaners — these can dull their finish over time.

Pearls Go On Last
Apply all cosmetics and hair products before putting on your jewelry to protect their surface.

Remove Before Moisture or Movement
Take off your pearls before swimming, showering, or exercising to avoid damage from water or sweat.

Clean Gently

  • Wipe with a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with lukewarm water.

  • For deeper cleaning, use a drop of mild soap diluted in water. Rinse, then pat dry with a clean cloth.

Store with Intention

  • Keep them separate in a soft pouch or a lined jewelry box to prevent scratches.

  • Avoid exposing pearls to overly dry or humid conditions.

Treat them with love — and they'll stay timeless.
